Getting Started

This is the view toward San Francisco from our front window
We are so conveniently located regarding the San Feancisco airport. At the bottom of the hill that we live on, a bus making two stops drops us off directly at the United Airlines entryway. The flight to Hawaii is 5 hours. Just about the time flying becomes a burden, you can feel the power being diminished and the pilot announcing 20 minutes to landing. You know the tropical breezes, sublime temperature and the relaxed island style awaits. Packing our packs is easy. Shorts and shirts will cover the entire month's clothing needs.

This the view from the window of our 19th floor living room. In the fore ground is the Ala Wai Canal.
The purpose of this blog is to practise using Bogsy and an Apple IPad mini. In the posting of our past Camino pilgrimages we have utilized the good graces of John and Robin Pigott.
We would send both our descriptives and photos to them residing in Oregon; and, they would enter both into our blog. Now it seems technology has replaced them. In fact they have lead the way. Recently returning from a winter camino pilgrimage along the Camino Frances, they wrote their entire blog using an ipadmini, Blogsy and a digital camera.
